MascotCapsule V3 Data Creation Procedures
Step 1 : Modeling
Create the 3D data using commercial 3D authoring tools.
Supported software: 3ds Max, Maya, LightWave 3D, Softimage, etc.
Step 2 : Exporting
After completing the 3D data on the 3D authoring tool, use BacTra Exporter Plug-in in order to export the data as
, which are intermediate file formats.
BAC/TRA file formats are independent from particular operators or manufacturers; therefore, they can be used for all profiles.

Step 3: Editing
Exported BAC/TRA files can be edited or modified using PAC, as necessary.
PAC can edit the data including texture UV, polygon attributes, etc., using intuitive operation similar to popular graphic tools.
Step 4: Converting
After completing the BAC/TRA files, use M3DConverter in order to convert to MBAC/MTRA files, which are MascotCapsule V3 file formats.
M3DConverter can change the scaling value of the model, and simultaneously convert multiple TRA files to a single MTRA file.
Step 5: Viewing
Converted and completed MBAC/MTRA files can be previewed on Windows OS, using PVMicro.
PVMicro can preview toon shading, as well as the actual effects of environment mapping or background by loading the BMP file.
These five steps complete the creation of 3D data that is operable in MascotCapsule V3.
